Update
- Interpretation banning ClamCleat Keepers has been withdrawn
Following consultation and discussion, World Measurer
Graham Hanna recommended that the original interpretation 34 banning
ClamCleat Keepers, issued February 14, 2006, should be withdrawn.
The World Council has approved a revised interpretation
34, issued by Graham, that allows the use of ClamCleat Keepers.
The earlier interpretation that did not allow use of Keepers has
been withdrawn.
ClamCleat Keepers are a plastic fitting which can
be used with a ClamCleat to prevent lines from cleating accidentally,
and from coming uncleated under no load.
