With 2 days of exciting sailing and 1 day of light winds, the Tasars had an amazing weekend on Westernport Bay under the exempliar management of Somers Yacht Club.
From the welcoming notices outside the club through the magnificent food and drink during the regatta and the quick and accurate race management, it was a great event.
We even had an interstate team from Canberra hot off winning the NSW state titles the weekend before to keep us honest. Unfortunately they found us out, and went on to win the regatta comfortably. Well done Noah Taylor and Chris Reed!

The 2026 Tasar State Championships are to be sailed at Somers Yacht Club (https://www.somersyachtclub.com.au/) on Westernport Bay. All members of the Tasar Association of Victoria and members from other Tasar associations are cordially invited in some of the nicest sailing waters with some of the nicest people in the state. NB your entry fee also includes a meal ticket for the skipper and crew for a Saturday night Paella!

ACCOMMODATION
Somers Yacht Club members are offering free accommodation to competitors in the Tasar State Titles. Availability is limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
